"Tried Ubrelvy as directed by Dr. And within an hour of 1 tablet my migraine was gone. I took it at the onset of migraine, when I start seeing an aura around lights I have a migraine with the day. I took a single dose 50mg headache gone. Side effect that got me was dizzy and nauseous. I puked one time but this is common for me during migraine. This only lasted maybe 20 minutes I immediately started feeling better. Side effect number 2 for some reason it made me hyper not in a bad way just a lot of energy Side effect number 3 insomnia I took the tablet around 1pm and I got up at 8am and I’m typing this review at 4am and not even remotely tired. I would take tablet again for the relief. I used samples provided by Dr. Not sure about the cost"

"I was receiving BOTOX treatments for my migraines, my insurance (United Healthcare) decided to deny them after 6 years, unless I wanted to pay in full for the treatment (which I can't afford). They agreed to Ubrevely, out of 5 my Neuro sent over to them (It wasn't my Dr's 1st pick). It has not made my stomach upset (thankfully), I experienced dry-mouth and being tired (zombie-like). However, it hasn't helped with the 1 migraine so far, and I have tried back-to-back doses. I've been using it for a month now (about 6 doses) I just want/ need to be without pain for at least 1 day."

"15 years of migraines several days a week, over 2 dozen preventatives tried (no luck with any), and nothing got rid of the headache except triptans, which unfortunately began giving me extreme nausea 2 years ago. Started trying Ubrelvy 6 months ago, and found 75 mg. works for me, with NO nausea or any other side effects of any kind! They do take longer to start working than the triptans do. The only thing is the 100 mg pills are SO HUGE, I have to cut them into 1/4 to choke them down. They still get stuck in the back of my throat occasionally. I tried Nurtec since it's dissolving solved that issue, but unfortunately that did not help my headaches at all. Back to Ubrelvy!"

"My doctor gave me a sample of Ubrelvy as a treatment for when a migraine were to occur. On the plus side I started feeling relief in about 90 mins. It was early evening so I went to sleep. Woke up around 3:30 am and I was no longer in pain, but I was sweating with the feeling of the room spinning. My mouth was very dry, and I was feeling nausea. After dry-heaving a bunch, I drank half a bottle of water. Vomited that up not long after. The plus side is the pill seemed to help with the headache, but was the side effects worth it? I’m on the fence about trying another dosage for future migraine."

"I was given a sample and then prescribed Ubrelvy. I was taking triptans but had side effects. Ubrelvy works within 2 hours for some relief and eliminates migraine symptoms within 3-4 hours. I do feel a little jittery and agitated/spacey after a few hours. I feel more tired but pain and other symptoms are relieved. Have to drink a lot of water or feel “toxic” after and left side belly ache."

"I have had migraines since 1984. Had/done every scan, MRI, food journal, emotional journal, tried birth control pills, etc... You name it, I've tried it. First gen Imotrex gave me chest pains so that class of drugs was out. Jump ahead to when Ubrelvy came out. What a game-changer! I'm very grateful for this new class of CGRP interrupters. I take a 100mg tablet at the very onset of the migraine and 98% of the time (within two hours) it takes care of it. Every now and then I will have to take another dose, but that hasn't happened in a while. The only thing that could be considered as a side effect that I personally have experienced is drowsiness. Not sure if it was truly caused by the meds or if it was the headache though. Sign up with the drug maker to get a discount on your co-pay. If you have migraines and nothing else has worked for you, please try Ubrelvy. It has been a game-changer for me!"

"I have been taking Ubrelvy for almost two years. I break the 100mg pill in half depending on the severity of the attack. I also take Botox injections every 3 months. Some days I take the entire pill but break it in half. I get nausea but I take Zofran for this. I sleep three plus hours. A second dose makes me tired and a little dizzy when I wake. The day after I am very tired."

"I was prescribed 100mg of Ubrelvy to take in place of Relpax to try and combat the rebound headaches I was experiencing. I have used this med about 6 times and I will not use again. Not only does it not work AT ALL, it exacerbates all the other side effects I get along with the migraine, especially nausea. I feel worse after taking this. Relpax and botox have been the only things that have helped my chronic migraines. I would NOT recommend Ubrelvy to anyone."

"I could cry from relief to have a drug that stops a migraine. Heck, I have cried from relief for this very reason with Ubrelvy. I've had migraines since I was a tiny child. Other things I have tried could maybe dull the pain but never stopped it. I've taken my 4th of five pills now. The pain always recedes within 90 minutes. Side effects on a 50mg dose are mild; I have a weak appetite and a hint of nausea for about 24 hours and have a little fatigue... But that's way better than a migraine. I had started on 100mg, but the nausea at that dose was unbearable. Thankfully the half dose works just as well without causing severe nausea."

"This medication has been really effective for me. I like that there are fewer side effects than other meds (like triptans). I usually only need to take one, and my migraine is gone once it’s metabolized, which usually takes about an hour or less depending on if and what I’ve eaten. Before, triptans would offer some relief initially, but then my migraine would come back the next day. This med knocks out my migraine completely, and I don’t have to take another one the next day, which is great for me. However, this med is ineffective for my mom. She was prescribed it for migraines since she has high blood pressure. It did not work for her. I would say this med is at least worth a try if you struggle with migraines. I’m glad I was able to find a med that’s more effective for me and has fewer side effects ."

"This was effective for a while (though took a few hours to work), but stopped working after a while (both the 50mg and 100mg). In fact, it made my migraine worse! I ended up taking Sumatriptan afterwards to get rid of the migraine (which took longer than usual to stop the migraine). For anyone who takes this, please have an alternative rescue medication close by, just in case it fails."

"I was given four 50mg samples of this medication. I had high hopes as I frequently need 2 Rizatriptan to stop my pain. I tried the Ubrelvy. 1 dose did nothing. The 2nd may even have made it worse. I felt like I had been hit in the head with something. I seriously contemplated going to the ER. The samples come with a lot of ridiculous swag including a pouch for this pill intended to be stuck to the back of your cell phone. Ridiculous. All it did was make things worse."

"I am so sorry for for those that had bad experience with this med: like didn't work or side effect. For me, this medicine was a life saver and was the only thing that broke a long line of migraines! I highly recommend giving it a chance. Don't read possible side effects before taking it. For me, it worked within 45 minutes and gave me lasting relief."

"I tried a 50mg Ubrelvy for a migraine that had been building all day. Shortly after I had pain in my temples and then complete relief. The next morning I woke up with awful, awful head pain. It was throbbing and I could hardly walk. I puked my guts out all day and couldn’t keep anything down. My usual arm weakness worsened. I still am not better 3 days later and am still taking Zofran to not puke. I will not attempt this drug again."

"I've been on Ubrelvy for about 6 months now and it’s truly been a great experience. Nothing else has worked for me. I tried all triptans, supplements, etc. and Ubrelvy 100mg finally worked. I can take it whenever and feel no side effects. Every medication that I was trying was giving me terrible side effects or just was not working. The one thing that I love about Ubrelvy is no side effects, and I don’t have to take it right when the migraine starts or before the migraine or any other stipulation. I know it’ll work whenever. If you’re reading into reviews and have tried a lot of things and are wondering if this is going to work, I would give it a shot I was very nervous to try this but I’m very grateful that I did."

"I can’t take Triptans so my doctor is having me try Ubrelvy. I cut Ubrelvy in half to 50mg the two occasions I tried it . Then I proceeded to feel doped up and trying not to die for the rest of the evening and night. Horrible anxiety, persistent heart palpitations, weird vision changes. I’ve taken typical and atypical antipsychotics and this Ubrelvy is worse. It’s like being behind a veil. Like you just feel off. IDK how to describe it. Like some weird hybrid of being high on cannabis/alcohol and mixing that with a Benadryl but not groggy but also incapable of functioning. Just wrong. Then the next day I’m hungover from it. It also causes headaches in me and I rarely if ever have headaches."

"I was so hopeful about trying this medication. I woke up with a migraine. I decided to take my first dose. Within 30 minutes I was vomiting, dizzy, stomach hurting, and feeling very strung out and tired. I’m very happy for the folks that have good results. I’m not one of them though."

"This is one of the only medications that actually work on me. It can take several hours to kick in, but it works, with minimal side affects. I do ont do well with triptans, and I did an injectable which only worked for one month."

"I tried two samples of 50mg and 100mg also had 4 samples of nurtec too. The 50 mg Ubrelvy barely touched the pain, it dulled it enough for me to go to sleep to sleep the pain off. The 100mg did work slightly better BUT!!!!! I woke up 2 hours later WIDE AWAKE! I opted to get a prescription for the 100mg as the 50mg wasn't enough and Nurtec was horrible, it gave me a way worse headache !!! Well I took a 100mg Ubrelvy Tuesday evening and I haven't slept since!!! It's currently 3am Sunday! I've been up till 4 am every night. Saturday I did sleep in and take a nap but here I am wide awake almost 3am. Try it, but don't count on it being side effect free. I'm considering just getting some type of sleeping pill for when I do get a migraine, I just need to sleep it off. Literally the only thing that works. I will add tho I have been getting botox and trigger point and occipital nerve Block injections and that has dulled my daily headaches. My daily pain went from 7/8 down to 3/4. But the migraines are still 10!"

"I have been having migraines for over 35 years, being in pain more than half the days of every month. Out of desperation, my doctor presented information on Ubrelvy. I reviewed the side effects and compared the ingredients to Imetrex (Imetrex gave me the best results with major side effects) and Topamax (no results with blindness) and decided to try it out. After my first dose of 50mg and 2 hours, I found zero relief and had zero side effects. I decided to take the second dose that my doctor suggested. It took at least an hour to take the edge off and reduced my pain level from a 10 (very intolerable) to an 8 (intolerable). It took a while and it only took the edge off, but it was a start. After a discussion with my doctor, we decided to try the 100mg dosage. My pain levels dropped to around a 4 (tolerable for me) or lower within 2-4 hours. I am a bit groggy but somewhat functional. I just wish the cost was lower so I could take it when needed and not just when I can afford it."

"For me, it gets rid of the headache 100% of the time within two hours. I sometimes wait several hours after onset to make sure it's a migraine, and even then Ubrelvy works. Sometimes the migraine comes back the next day, so I disagree that there are no rebound headaches with this medication, but I take a second dose at that point and I'm fine for a couple of weeks. With rizatriptan, I would have to repeat the medication day after day and eventually have to spend a day vomiting and lying down to break the cycle; in other words, rizatriptan just allowed me to delay the symptoms until a more convenient time. Over 9 months on Ubrelvy, I have not lost a single day to migraine nor had a single episode of vomiting. 50 mg works just as well as 100. The worst effect is just a little drowsiness."

"Thankfully I have only had to take Ubrelvy a few times, but it has definitely helped each time! I usually only take it when I feel a migraine with aura coming on. The first thing I notice is a change in my vision, followed by severe pain and some nausea. Whenever I first sense a vision change, I take one Ubrelvy pill (usually 100mg). There have been a couple instances where the pain and nausea don’t even really develop and my vision returns to normal after taking it! But the reason I’m writing this review today is because I recently had a headache for probably around 16 hours, which Ubrelvy ultimately cured. I had only taken Advil at first because it wasn’t my usual migraine with aura, but I ended up taking a Ubrelvy after the pain persisted and I felt better within 30 minutes! Everyone with migraines should give this medication a shot. My neurologist also prescribed me Nurtec, but I haven’t had to try it yet because Ubrelvy has helped each time."

"I got this med as another tool in my drawer for my now chronic migraines. Maxalt works fairly well for me, just thought I'd like to try the new CGRP methodology. OMG, this is AWFUL. I swear it made my head worse. But sometimes maxalt doesn't get it on the first try either, so I assumed I just needed another - took it 3 hours later and things got worse, now with nausea. I had to use pain meds to get under control and my stomach was a wreck all day. I thought maybe this was just a coincidence of things, but after reading the other reviews; I think I'll just leave my $800 worth of meds in the drawer. Its awful."

"I have been living with migraines for almost 2 years. I’m 30 and never had an issue with headaches before. I was diagnosed with chronic daily migraines and although my migraines aren’t as severe pain wise they are persistent. I have had months were I had a headache 3 weeks in a row nonstop. It has deteriorated my mental health. My neuro sent me ubrelvy and I had so much hope in them that I thought they were working bc my pain level decreased the first day I took them. I’m on week 2 now & I’m back to 0. Botox will be my next treatment attempt. Praying for all of you suffering from these horrific migraines. I know we all will find the right meds one day."

"This medicine has been the miracle for me. I had brain surgery at 22 and was left with residual migraines and cluster headaches that are debilitating. I've tried cervical epidural, occipital nerve blocks, Botox, Maxalt, Aimovig, you name it I tried it with no help or horrible side effects or reactions. My neurologist gave me some 50mg samples before a full prescription as I have horrific side effects. The first time I used it I didn't have high hopes because of previous history, but I took it at onset of pain and an hour later I felt better but not gone, so I took another 50mg. An hour and a half later my migraine was completely gone. My vision was back to normal, no aura, and I could work. I was surprised, the doctor then gave me 100mg dosage the next time I had been at work and away from my purse so the pain got to a 5 before I took it. However, I was pain-free an hour and a half later. The only negative was being slightly nauseous. I took nausea meds & crackers and was fine. I definitely recommend it."
