"I have daily chronic headaches. I’ve tried more things than I can remember over 20 years. I was given this drug as a sample. I can’t really offer a lot of good things because I noticed that my tongue was swollen from a reaction from the drug. Discontinued for that reason."

"Ever since my dr prescribed Ubrelvy I was reluctant but the first time I took it with my symptoms already starting it worked. There is also coupons I was told to get online that made it only cost 10 dollars. So worth it. It sure beats all the rest of them. Hopefully the coupon after a year is another one to use. Recommend this to anyone who gets hit hard by the pain"

"The first time I took it, my migraine went away with minimal side effects. Took it for the second time last night, and thought I was going to die. Headache went from 5/10 to 11/10 and I began vomiting and felt like I needed to go to the ER. I have an iron stomach and have not vomited in 15 years. Migraines never make me throw up. This was the worst I have ever felt, hands down. I am so disappointed but also very concerned because those side effects were downright scary. I feel wiped out today and will never take Ubrelvy again. I used to tell people a kidney stone was the worst pain of my life... this was worse. I'm still kind of in shock - I've taken all kinds of meds and nothing has ever done this to me."

"This Ubrelvy definitely works for the migraine pain but the side affects were not fun for me at all. Stomach issues, felt very out of it and a very bad heat intolerance. I'm bummed because it did work for me but the side effects are not worth it."

"Ubrelvy works well for me though it is slow-acting. Chronic migraines for 40 years. I've tried most preventative and acute meds. Triptans (I've tried them all since 1992) work for me, but cause debilitating fatigue and body aches which has gotten worse. Ubrelvy has had no side effects for me (taken 8 times), but needs 3-4 hours for pain relief to kick in. 100mg is somewhat faster than 50mg. Only once has the migraine pain returned that day. Much better results for me as I don't lose the whole day to pain or med side effects. Very grateful to have a new acute treatment option. Mfr copay card covered most of cost."

"No no no!! I will not take this medication Ubrelvy ever again. I woke up with the onset of a migraine so I finally decided to try the sample of Ubrelvy 50mg to see if it done anything for me. Well after about 45 min I went to sleep and woke up with complete nausea and diarrhea and slow thinking and my anxiety was acting up with it. I don’t know if it was a reaction to my Prozac or other meds but this feeling has went on the whole day and I will never take it again. Definitely not worth the side effects!!!!!"

"Seemed to work amazing the first time, but the next two times made me feel strange and caused vomiting. Never had this issue with maxalt. Does not seem insurance will cover it anyway (Currently using samples from my doctor), even with the copay card that was offered it was declined and $850 for ten pills is ridiculous... especially for something that makes me throw up and puts me to sleep for six hours. May as well just experience the migraine for free."

"Very disappointed with Ubrelvy. I had a bad migraine and was asleep when it started for other rescue meds. I waited too long so I thought perfect time for Ubrelvy. It did not work at all for me. Thankful I have a prescription Sumatriptan injections. It took that and it was gone in an hour and it was a bad one. My insurance pays for Ubrelvy but it is not worth to refill. Sumatriptan injections work but some times you feel really tired after taking and sometimes the next day. Ubrelvy is $92 per pill cash price. Not worth $1 for the treatment."

"Made my boyfriend fall asleep instantly. When he woke up two hours later he still had a bad migraine with the new addition of excessive sleepyness. This pill will put you to BED. And it did nothing for his head"

"I tried after seeing professional tennis players ad, then asked my neurologist about it. It was just prescribed and received a coupon card otherwise it would have been $1,100 for 8 pills. Took the 1st and nothing, 2hrs later took the 2nd dose and my migraine seem to get worse. Then 4hrs later I had terrible diarrhea. But had zero nausea. Didn’t work for me but I hope it works for you."

"Have bad migraines, umbrelvy works great . I take 100 mg when I get an attack it really does work in two hours and it seems to prevent or lessens my migraines. It is not addictive and no real side affects. It might not work for everyone but I will swear by it."

"I love Ubrelvy. Grateful for this new drug. Got rid of my migraines each time —though it does take longer to kick in than triptans (sometimes 1-2-3 hours). Makes me drowsy, but I do not mind it because my migraines happened at night. I am thrilled with not having to worry about the possible serious cardiovascular/stroke side effects that accompany triptans."

"I’ve had migraines for about 30 years, treated for roughly the last 10 years with the preventative topiramate and Imitrex. I would get migraines often spread out throughout the month before treatment. Finally with treatment, I would have breakthrough migraine, take the imitrex and it worked like a charm 30 minutes later, the migraine was gone. Now, for a year, I have been having months of migraines, some months 14 days, some 25 days, some 7 days but they are back to back and the imitrex just stopped being effective. I started to see a neurologist who prescribed Ubrelvy. I took it and the med took 4 hours before it gave me the slightest relief and 5 hours later the migraine was gone. That is unacceptable. I was not functioning as usual."

"Tried Ubrelvy at recommendation of my neurologist and will never take it again. Within an hour of taking it I began feeling very agitated, panicky, and unable to think clearly as if my brain was in a fog. That lasted for hours as the headache continued. Then I started to have serious body aches, to the extent I wondered if my headache was actually the onset of flu or COVID since I had the type of painful body aches associated with illness and high fevers. Four hours after taking Ubrelvy the body aches were so severe I could hardly walk but make it to the bathroom to take 2 extra strength Tylenol. I was finally able to fall asleep but woke up again in night sweats and feeling dizzy. The following morning my headache and all other side effects were completely gone, but I had horrible diarrhea. Never again."

"I'm 66 female. Had migraines for years. Finally used Imitrex and it worked great at about 1 hour and totally gone at about 2-3 hours. When Ubrelvy came out my new doc REALLY pushed it. I asked about taking Imitrex nasally for a quicker response. I ended up taking Ubrelvy 100 mg. and not only did it NOT help with a migraine I had, it made it worse. light sensitive. I never took it again, but now I'm light-sensitive. I can't even have certain lights on in the house and it's almost impossible to drive at night. I still have migraines about 2-4 a month and looked into faster-acting drugs like Imitrex. I found Rizatriptan ODT it melts on my tongue and it works FAST!! Great no side effects. I LOVE IT!! No thanks to the doctors though, geez I had to do this myself!"

"I have suffered with migraines for over 30 years, the last five years or so they have become chronic and daily. Imitrex works for me but I have to take so much of it! I tried a sample Ubrelvy from my neurologist, and I went three days without a migraine. Miracle drug right? NO, Unfortunately I have now tried it three more times and each time it has made my headache worse! So disappointed, again! Will discontinue. I wanted to see if anyone else had this experience so I’m glad to see I am not alone. Holding out hope for Nurtec!"

"I was given samples of Ubrelvy from my primary care doctor when they ran out of samples of Nurtec. I am on Aimovig but have a few breakthrough migraines, so I only need a few each month. The first time I took the Ubrelvy, it worked well. I took 100mg. and it greatly reduced all symptoms. I wouldn't say they were gone, but definitely improved. The problems came the second time I took Ubrelvy. Again, I took 100mg. This time it cut down migraine symptoms but a few hours later I felt extremely dizzy, like everything was spinning and it felt like I was walking on a trampoline. I thought I was having a stroke! My husband and I looked up other people's experiences with Ubrelvy and that put my mind at ease, knowing it wasn't a stroke. The dizziness lasted over 72 hours! I am definitely never taking Ubrelvy again!"

"I had been fearful to take this, as it's my first time using any migraine medication. Migraines started 15 years ago, lasting around 24 hours every couple of months, then progressing to a full 3 days every week. I was on my 3rd day today of this migraine and I just have had enough. In 15 minutes, I felt a pleasant sensation on the top of my head and after 5 minutes, it was gone. The only side effect I noticed was a slight upset stomach; I ate some crackers and feel fine. For me, this is wonderful for my first time."

"I was very hopeful for Ubrelvy. I have used many migraine medicines over 20 years. Imitrex has been the only medicine that is effective in breaking the headache. But it has so many horrible side effects like neck pain, sensitive skin and painful hair, body pain, hangover headaches and nausea. Ubrelvy worked the first 2 times I took it - with NO side effects. It appeared to be miracle drug. I’ve taken it 14 more times and it only broke my migraine 1/2 the time - only works 50% of the time. Unacceptable when experiencing a migraine. I would wait 4-5 hours for it to work and then have to take imitrex when Ubrelvy didn’t work. Which means I am doubling medicine and waiting up to 5 additional hours to treat migraine while I wait to see if the Ubrelvy will work. So disappointed and wondering why it doesn’t work every time. Back to horrible imitrex"

"Took Ubrelvy at 10pm, pretty bad migraine (not the worst, but bad), seemed to help, but within the first 1/2 hour my heart started to RACE and it felt like an elephant was suing on my chest Has anyone had his experience? I will NEVER take this med pain, too scared."

"Ubrelvy knocks out the most serious migraines within 30-40 minutes without the exhaustion and hangover effect or the issue of having loss of vocabulary. I did have to get a prior authorization through my insurance to get it covered."

"Ubrelvy 100mg works amazing for me. Sumatriptan didn’t touch my migraines and made me feel super drowsy and foggy. Similar experience with nurtec which made me nauseated and sleepy. Oftentimes my migraine is gone in less than 20 minutes after taking Ubrelvy. I’m so glad to have something that works and doesn’t give me side effects!"

"My primary MD gave me some samples of Ubrelvy. I was reluctant to try it, but I needed relief from my migraine that I had for 2 days. After taking it, I felt my migraine headache subsiding significantly within 1/2 hour. I didn't have any terrible side effects from it either! It's definitely a great medication!"

"First off Triptans and most other drugs have not worked for me. I have been taking Emgality and that has been a minimal improvement. I’m also getting Botox every 12 weeks. Botox has helped tremendously but I still get at least 12 migraines a month with aura, nausea, visual disturbances. I took this drug after a migraine started and I had nausea. Usually this would mean a day of pain...at least. This medicine was like a miracle. Everything else leaves a residual headache that makes the migraine come back. I took this a week ago and have not had a migraine since. This is a game changer for me. It makes me really tired but it is so worth it to me. I still can’t believe it."

"I have had chronic migraines for 38 years. Imitrex worked for me most of the time, with few side effects and so I used it for 20 years, until one night it caused me to have a cardiac vasospasm and suffer a heart attack. Since then, I feared I was doomed to suffer again without any help, but fortunately Ubrelvy became available! I have taken 100 mg. tablets 4-6 times per month with no side effects. It takes 2-4 hours to work, but is a lot better than my previous 72 hour migraines. It prevents my nausea entirely and the headache does not return 90% of the time. So, please don't read the negative reviews and think that this medication is a bad one for everyone."
