Active Ingredients

Each bolus contains:

Sulfanilamide

5.85 g

Sulfathiazole

5.85 g

Sulfamethazine

3.90 g

Triple Sulfa Bolus Indications

For oral use as an aid in treatment of bacterial pneumonia, metritis, foot rot, diphtheria, and other conditions in cattle when caused by sulfonamide susceptible organisms.

Directions For Use

To reduce the development of antimicrobial resistance and maintain effectiveness, use this antibiotic prudently.

Initial Dose: 1 bolus per 80 kg bodyweight.

Subsequent Dose: 1/2 the initial dose and may be given 12 hours later if necessary.

The initial dose is usually sufficient.

Cautions:

The diagnosis should be re-evaluated if improvement is not apparent after 4 days of treatment.

Warnings

Milk taken from treated animals during treatment and within 96 hours after the latest treatment with this drug must not be used in food. Treated animals must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 10 days after the latest treatment with this drug. Sulfonamides can cause allergic reactions in sensitized individuals. When handling the product, avoid inhalation, oral exposure and direct contact with skin or eyes. Keep out of the reach of children.

Storage

Store at room temperature (15-30°C).
