A concentrated, non-rusting, multi-purpose germicidal detergent and deodorant for use on all hard surfaces. Disinfects, cleans, and deodorizes in one labor saving step.

Recommended for use in hospitals, dental and veterinary offices.

May be used as a pre-clean soak.

Effective against the following organisms according to AOAC Use-Dilution method. Efficacy results indicate complete inactivation of organisms under test conditions as required by the CGSB and HPB.

Directions For Use

General Use Directions for Disinfection:

For use on hard, non-porous surfaces such as floors, walls, metal surfaces, stainless steel surfaces, porcelain and plastic surfaces. Remove gross filth and heavy soil deposits then thoroughly wet surfaces. Use 16 mL per litre of water for a minimum contact time of 10 minutes in a single application. Can be applied with a mop, sponge, cloth, coarse spray or by soaking. The recommended use solution is prepared fresh for each use then discarded. Rinsing is not necessary unless floors are to be waxed or polished.

Mildew-static Instructions:

Will effectively control the growth of mold and mildew in addition to associated odours when applied to hard, non-porous surfaces such as walls, floors and tabletops. Apply solution of 16 mL per litre of water with cloth, mop, sponge or coarse spray making sure to wet all surfaces completely. Let air dry. Repeat application weekly, or when growth reappears.

KILLS HIV-1 ON PRE-CLEANED ENVIRONMENTAL SURFACES/OBJECTS PREVIOUSLY SOILED WITH BLOOD/BODILY FLUIDS in health care settings or other settings in which there is an expected likelihood of soiling of inanimate surfaces/objects with blood or bodily fluids, and in which the surfaces/objects likely soiled with blood or bodily fluids can be associated with the potential for transmission of human immunodeficiency virus HIV-1.

Special Instructions for Cleaning or Decontaminating Against HIV-1 on Surfaces and Objects Soiled with Blood or Bodily Fluids:

Personal Protection: Disposable latex or vinyl gloves, gowns, face masks, or eye coverings as appropriate, must be worn during all cleaning of blood/bodily fluids, and decontamination procedures.

Cleaning Procedure: Blood/bodily fluids must be thoroughly cleaned from surfaces and objects before application of disinfectant.

Contact Time: Effective against HIV-1 on hard, non-porous surfaces in the presence of a moderate amount of organic soil (5% blood serum) when used at a 1:64 dilution (providing 600 ppm of active quaternary) in 400 ppm CaCO₃ hard water for a contact time of 4 minutes at room temperature (20 - 25°C). Use a 10 minute contact time for disinfection against all other bacteria, fungi and viruses claimed.

Disposal of Infectious Materials: Blood/body fluids should be autoclaved and disposed of according to federal, provincial and local regulations for infectious waste disposal.

Precautions

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DANGER - CORROSIVE. Causes eye and skin damage. Do not get on skin, in eyes or on clothing. Harmful if swallowed.

FIRST AID:

In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. For eyes, call a physician.
