Spectragen Indications

SPECTRAGEN^® is a powerful and large-broad spectrum disinfectant, conceived to be used in animal production facilities (premises and equipment) and veterinary hospitals, and in animal-derived food processing industries.

Benzylalkyl (C12-16) dimethyl ammonium chloride (CAS 68424-85-1): 18.96%

Glutaraldehyde (CAS 111-30-8): 16.11%

Didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (CAS 7173-51-5): 6.63%

USE RATES:

Veterinary field: Bactericidal at 0.2%, virucidal at 0.6%, fungicidal at 1%

Food processing areas: Bactericidal at 0.2%

Directions For Use

Disinfection on hard surfaces in livestock areas: Use water solution of SPECTRAGEN^® on previously cleaned and rinsed surfaces. Ensure that livestock and feed are removed from the area. For a contact time of 30 minutes, the recommended dose is from 0.2% to 1%.

By spraying: Use 200 to 400 liters of solution per 1000 m² to be disinfected. Leave on for at least 30 minutes. After treatment, ventilate buildings and enclosed spaces and wait for the complete drying of surfaces before relocation of animals.

By fogging: Use 1 ml of SPECTRAGEN^® per m³ (about 3 liters for a building of 1000 m²). Leave on for 4 hours with the fully enclosed building (no human or animal presence). Ventilate for at least 2 hours at the end of treatment before any access to humans or animals.

Disinfection on hard surfaces in food processing areas: Use a 0.2% of SPECTRAGEN^® water solution. Leave on for at least 5 minutes. Rinse necessarily to water surfaces in contact with foodstuffs.

After use, clean application equipment with water.

Keep out of reach of children. Wear protective gloves / protective clothing / eye protection / face protection. Do not breathe vapors and spray. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Avoid release to the environment.

IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor / physician if you feel unwell.

IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor / physician if you feel unwell.

IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove / Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.

If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention.

Use with caution. Observe the instructions to avoid risks to humans and the environment.
