Directions For Use

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Apply this product only as specified on the label.

READ THE LABEL: Read the entire label and follow all use directions, use restrictions, and precautions.

USE RESTRICTIONS

Entry Restrictions:

● Except when applying to livestock, do not enter or allow others to enter until vapors, mists, and aerosols have dispersed, dried, and the treated area has been thoroughly ventilated.

Application Restrictions:

● Except when applying to livestock, do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application.

● Do not remain in treated area. Exit area immediately and remain outside the treated area until aerosols, vapors, and/or mists have dispersed.

For Applications Indoors:

● Remove or cover exposed food and drinking water before application.

● Remove or cover dishes, utensils, food processing equipment, and food preparation surfaces, or wash them before reuse.

● Do not use in aircraft cabins.

When used in dairy barns or facilities:

● Close milk bulk tank lids to prevent contamination from spray and from dead or falling insects. Remove or cover milking utensils before application. Wash teats of animals before milking.

When used in food handling and processing facilities:

● Do not make space spray applications when facility is in operation.

● Prior to space spray applications, cover or remove food.

● Prior to space spray applications, cover food processing surfaces or clean after treatment and before reuse.

When used around or near floor drains:

● Do not apply directly into sewers or drains, or to any area like a gutter where drainage to storm sewers, water bodies, or aquatic habitat can occur. Do not allow this product to enter any indoor or outdoor drain during or after application.

AGRICULTURAL USES

For control of house flies, horn flies, stable flies, gnats, mosquitoes, and small flying moths.

DAIRY FARM USE

For Milking Parlor and Milking Room Use:

Close all windows and doors. Spray at the rate of 1 to 2 seconds per 1,000 cu. ft. If rooms cannot be closed tightly, double the dosage. Stand in middle of the room. Direct the Prozap CT-75 Aerosol Insecticide fog upward and spray in all directions. Seconds may be counted saying, “one-thousand, two-thousand,” etc. Keep the room closed for 15 minutes after treatment. Example: A room 20 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 8 feet high requires 2 seconds, if closed tightly, 4 seconds, if not. Do not remain in treated area. Ventilate the area after treatment is completed. Cover milking utensils and milk to prevent contamination from spray and from dead or falling insects.

For Stanchion Barn Use:

Walk behind animals and direct Prozap CT-75 Aerosol Insecticide spray over animals’ backs allowing 1 second per animal. For most effective results, apply each morning.

For Animal Use:

From an approximately 2-ft. distance, thoroughly spray the entire animal as it is being released to pasture. Do not spray directly toward animal’s eyes. Spot treat withers, shoulders, and back where saliva accumulates from head-tossing.

Poultry Operations:

Use only in empty poultry houses (when birds are not present). Close all windows and doors. Spray Prozap CT-75 Aerosol Insecticide at the rate of 1 to 2 seconds per 1,000 cu. ft. Keep area closed for 15 minutes following application. If area cannot be closed, double the dosage. Repeat application daily or as necessary.

Hog Operations:

In hog houses, close all windows and doors. Apply at the rate of 1 to 2 seconds per 1,000 cu. ft. Keep area closed for 15 minutes following application. For animal applications, direct the Prozap CT-75 Aerosol Insecticide spray over animals’ backs and spray 1 to 2 seconds per hog. Do not spray directly toward animal’s face or eyes. Repeat application daily or as necessary.

Horse Barns and Stables:

In horse and pony barns, close all windows and doors. Spray Prozap CT-75 Aerosol Insecticide at the rate of 1 to 2 seconds per 1,000 cu. ft. Keep area closed for 15 minutes following application. For animal applications, lightly mist over the backs of horses and ponies from a distance of at least 2 ft. Do not spray directly toward horse’s face or eyes. Repeat application daily or as necessary.

Beef Cattle Operations:

In barns, close all windows and doors. Apply Prozap CT-75 Aerosol Insecticide at the rate of 1 to 2 seconds per 1,000 cu. ft. Keep area closed for 15 minutes following application. For animal applications, thoroughly spray the entire animal as it is being released into pasture. Do not spray directly toward the animal’s face or eyes. Repeat application daily or as necessary.

FOOD STORAGE AREAS, MEAT AND FOOD PROCESSING PLANTS

Flying Insects (flies, mosquitoes, gnats, wasps, small flying moths and fruit flies): Close all windows and doors. Direct the Prozap CT-75 Aerosol Insecticide fog upward at a rate of 1 to 3 seconds per 1,000 cu. ft. Disperse in all locations. Keep area closed for 15 minutes.

Grain weevils, Flour Beetles, Chocolate Moths, Carpet Beetles, Drug Store Beetles: In exposed adult larvae stages: Contact as many insects as possible with Prozap CT-75 Aerosol Insecticide when treating infested areas such as cracks, crevices, stored products, machinery, and in dark secluded areas. For carpet beetles, treat infested areas of carpets, localized areas of floors, along baseboards, and into cracks and under carpets where these pests may be found. Spray at the rate of 10 to 20 seconds per 1,000 sq. ft. of floor space. Repeat application weekly or as insects appear.

Roaches, Spider, Ants, Silverfish, Crickets: Hold Prozap CT-75 Aerosol Insecticide close to cracks and mist directly into them, contacting as many insects as possible. Apply freely in all possible hiding places behind baseboards, under sinks, in cabinets, around coffee makers, and in meter boxes and manholes. Repeat application as necessary.

First Aid

If on Skin or on Clothing:

● Take off contaminated clothing.

● Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes.

● Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.

NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Contains petroleum distillates. May pose an aspiration pneumonia hazard.

Have product container or label with you when calling a poison control center, doctor, or going in for treatment.

Hazards To Humans And Domestic Animals

Prozap CT-75 Aerosol Insecticide Caution

Harmful if absorbed through skin. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. Wash thoroughly with soap and after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Wear long sleeved shirt and long pants, socks, shoes and chemical resistant gloves (such as Barrier Laminate, Nitrile or Neoprene Rubber, or Viton, Selection Category E). Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

Mixers, loaders, and other handlers must wear the following:

● Long-sleeved shirt and long pants,

● Shoes and socks, and

● Chemical-resistant gloves (such as barrier laminate, nitrile, neoprene rubber, or Viton).

User Safety Requirements

Follow manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables exist, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.

User Safety Recommendations

Users should wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.

Users should remove clothing/PPE immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing.

Users should remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of gloves before removing. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.

Environmental Hazards

This pesticide is toxic to aquatic organisms, including fish and invertebrates. Do not apply directly to or near water. Drift and run-off may be hazardous to fish in waters adjacent to treated area. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash water or rinsate.

This product is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment on blooming crops or weeds. Do not apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming crops or weeds while bees are foraging in the treatment area.

PHYSICAL OR CHEMICAL HAZARDS

Flammable. Contents under pressure. Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flame. Do not puncture or incinerate container. Exposure to temperatures above 130°F (54.44°C) may cause bursting. Do not spray on plastic, painted or varnished surfaces, or directly into electronic equipment such as radios, TV’s, computers, etc.

Storage And Disposal

Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal.

PESTICIDE STORAGE: Store in original container in a cool, dry place inaccessible to children and pets. Keep containers closed and away from other chemicals.

PESTICIDE DISPOSAL: Dispose of wastes resulting from the use of this product in trash or at an approved waste disposal facility.

CONTAINER HANDLING:

Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container.

If empty: Place in trash or offer for recycling if available.

If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions.
