Drinking Water System Cleaner

FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY

● Proxy-Clean^® prevents and removes heavy soils.

Directions For Use

Purpose: To efficiently remove heavy soils from the drinking water system

CLEANING WHEN THE SYSTEM IS NOT IN USE:

1 Gallon

● Determine the capacity of the drinking water system

● Prepare a 1-3% solution, depending on the degree of contamination

● Introduce the solution into the system

● Make sure there is adequate air release

● Remove the cap at the end of the drinking system to check for the fizzing reaction, to determine that Proxy-Clean^® has reached every point

● Activate all nipples or cups

● Allow the solution to circulate, if possible

● If circulation is not possible, the system must stand full for a minimum of 12 hours

● After cleaning, thoroughly flush with potable water

● Once again, activate all nipples or cups

CLEANING AN OPERATING SYSTEM (animals present)

Mix Proxy-Clean^® with water, to the following stock solution/premix:

If cleaning has to be done when animals are present, start with a dosage of 8 ounces of Proxy-Clean^® per 5 gallons of water.

For heavier cleaning, the dosage may be raised until a maximum of 20 ounces of Proxy-Clean^® per 5 gallons of water is reached.

● Prepare a 3% solution of Proxy-Clean^®

● Introduce the solution into the system

● Make sure there is adequate air release

● Check for the fizzing reaction at the end of the drinking system to determine that Proxy-Clean^® has reached every point in the line

● Activate all drinkers

● The system must stand full for a minimum of 12 hours

● After cleaning, thoroughly flush with potable water

● Once again, activate all drinkers

CLEANING AN OPERATING SYSTEM (animals present)

When injecting with a 1:128 medicator:

Mix Proxy-Clean^® with water, to the following stock solution/premix:

For other injection methods:

Measure concentration using hydrogen peroxide test strips, using Parts Per Million (PPM)

Precautionary Statements - Prevention

Wash face, hands and any exposed skin thoroughly after handling. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Do not breathe dust/fumes/gas/mist/vapors/spray. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources.

Precautionary Statements - Response

Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. In case of fire: use appropriate media to extinguish.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.

IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.

IF SWALLOWED: Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell. Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.

Precautionary Statements - Storage

Store locked up. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed.

Precautionary Statements - Disposal

Dispose of contents/container to an approved waste disposal plant in accordance with local regional/national/international regulations.
