USAGE:

Cal-C-Fresh Gel is a specifically formulated mineral supplement for use in goats to help maintain normal blood calcium levels following kidding.

FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS:

Use on every goat before and after kidding. Give 30 ml at the first sign of kidding and give another 30 ml 12 hours after kidding. Repeat after 12 hours, if needed. If first feeding is missed, a post kidding feeding is still beneficial. Can also be used as a follow-up to conventional IV calcium therapy.

Extreme care must be taken when feeding this gel so that it does not enter the lungs. This can result in severe pneumonia and death.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS:

Hold the head of the animal in a slightly elevated position and feed the recommended amount directly onto back of tongue. Allow time to swallow. Do not feed to animals without a swallowing reflex.
