PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS

HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS

Martin's Stryker Farm & Dairy Aerosol Caution

Contains petroleum distillate. Harmful if absorbed through skin. Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Wear: Long-sleeved shirt and long pants, socks, shoes, and chemical-resistant gloves (such as Natural Rubber, Selection Category A).

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

Applicators and other handlers must wear the following: long-sleeve shirt, long pants, shoes and socks, and chemical-resistant gloves (such as natural rubber, barrier laminate, butyl rubber, nitrile rubber, neoprene rubber, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride or viton). In addition to the above PPE, applicators applying this product as a space spray in an enclosed area must wear a half-face, full-face or hood-style NIOSH-approved respirator with: a dust/mist filtering cartridge (NIOSH approval number prefix TC-21C), or a canister approved for pesticide (NIOSH approved number prefix TC-14G), or a cartridge or canister with any R, P or HE filter.

User Safety Requirements

Follow manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning / maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables exist, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry. Discard clothing and other absorbent materials that have been drenched or heavily contaminated with this product’s concentrate. Do not reuse them.

User Safety Recommendations

Users should:

● Remove clothing/PPE immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing.

● Remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash outside of gloves before removing. Wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing as soon as possible.

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS

This product is toxic to aquatic organisms, including fish and invertebrates. Drift and runoff may be hazardous to aquatic organisms in water adjacent to treated areas. This product may contaminate water through runoff. This product has a potential for runoff for several months or more after application. Poorly drained soils and soils with shallow water tables are more prone to produce runoff that contains this product. Do not apply directly to water, to areas where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark.

This product is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment on blooming crops or weeds. Do not apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming crops or weeds while bees are foraging the treatment area.

PHYSICAL OR CHEMICAL HAZARDS

Flammable. Contents under pressure. Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flame. Do not puncture or incinerate container. Exposure to temperatures above 130F may cause bursting.

Do not mix or allow the product to come into contact with oxidizing agents as a hazardous chemical reaction may occur.

Directions For Use

IT IS A VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW TO USE THIS PRODUCT IN A MANNER INCONSISTENT WITH ITS LABELING.

Apply this product only as specified on the label.

USE RESTRICTIONS

● DO NOT TREAT COMPANION ANIMALS SUCH AS DOGS, CATS, PUPPIES OR, KITTENS WITH THIS PRODUCT.

● Do not apply more than 1 time per day.

● Only protected handlers may be in the treatment area during application.

● Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift.

● Do not enter or allow others to enter treated area until sprays have dried. For Space Sprays:

● Do not remain in treated area. Exit area immediately and remain outside the treated area until aerosols, vapors, and/or mists have dispersed.

● Do not allow adults, children or pets to enter the treated area for at least 15 minutes, until vapors, mists and aerosols have dispersed and the treated area has been thoroughly ventilated.

● Remove or cover exposed food and drinking water, in the treatment area, before application.

● Remove or cover dishes, utensils, food processing equipment, and food preparation surfaces, in the treatment area, or wash them before use.

● Do not allow spray to contact plastic, painted or varnished surfaces or directly into electronic equipment such as radios, TVs, computers etc.

● Application is prohibited directly into sewers or drains, or to any area like a gutter where drainage to sewers, storm drains, water bodies, or aquatic habitat can occur. Do not allow the product to enter any drain during or after application.

● Do not use in aircraft cabins.

● Not for use in metered release systems.

● When used in dairy barns or facilities: Close milk bulk tank lids to prevent contamination from spray and from dead or falling insects. Remove or cover milking utensils before application. Wash teats of animals before milking.

● Do not make outdoor applications during rain.

● Remove pets, birds, cover fish aquariums and turn off air pump motor before application.

● Do not wet plants to point of run off or drip

Residential Outdoor Surface and Space Sprays, Except for Outdoor Fogging Devices: All outdoor applications must be limited to spot or crack and crevice application only, except for the following permitted uses:

● Treatment to soil or vegetation around structures;

● Applications to lawns, turf and other vegetation;

● Applications to building foundations, up to a maximum height of 3 feet.

● Other than applications to building foundations, all outdoor applications to impervious surfaces such as sidewalks, driveways, patios, porches and structural surfaces (such as windows, doors and eaves) are limited to spot and crack-and-crevice applications only.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

CRACK AND CREVICE APPLICATION: Inject this product into cracks and crevices or void spaces where insects may be harboring, living and breeding. Place injector tip into cracks, crevices, holes and other small openings. Apply product for 1 second. For light infestations, move injector tip along cracks while treating at the rate of 3 ft /second. For heavy infestations, move injector tip along at 1 ft /second. For treatment of inaccessible voids (including wall and equipment voids), calculate the void’s cubic area and treat at the rate of 3 - 5 seconds/3 ft3. Several holes may be required in long-running voids. DIRECT SPRAY: Apply the product in short bursts into the area where insects are found such as corners of the room, behind and under furniture or equipment. Apply from a distance of 18 to 24 inches from the surface and allow the material to drift to the area to be treated. The amount of product to be applied must not exceed 10 seconds per room for residential areas and 10 seconds per 100 sq. ft. for commercial areas. SPACE SPRAY: Turn off air conditioners, fans, close doors and windows before treating. Calculate the cubic footage of the area to be treated and apply as follows: Flying insects: Apply at the rate of 1 to 3 seconds per 1,000 cubic feet. Crawling Insects: Apply at the rate of 20 seconds per 1,000 cubic feet. Disperse toward areas suspected of harboring the greatest insect infestations. Disperse in all locations contacting as many insects as possible. Keep area closed for 15 minutes. Open and thoroughly ventilate before reoccupying.

KILLS THE FOLLOWING INSECTS: Angoumois Grain Moths, Ants, Bed Bugs, Bees, Booklice, Carpet Beetles, Chocolate Moths, Cigarette Beetles, Clothes Moths, Clover Mites, Cluster Flies, Cockroaches, Confused Flour Beetles, Crickets, Drugstore Beetles, Fleas, Flies, Fruit Flies, Gnats, Grain Mites, Granary Weevils, Hornets, Horn Flies, House, Indian meal Moths, Mediterranean Flour Moths, Millipedes, Mosquitoes, Mud Daubers, Red Flour Beetles, Rice Weevils, Sawtoothed Grain Beetles, Silverfish, Small Flying Moths, Sow Bugs, Spiders, Stable Flies, Ticks, and Wasps.

FOR USE IN AND AROUND LIVESTOCK AND LIVESTOCK HOUSING

DAIRY BARNS OR FACILITIES (MILK HOUSE, MILKING PARLORS, MILK ROOMS), BEEF CATTLE BARNS, HORSE & STABLE BARNS, HOG BARNS, AND POULTRY HOUSES TO KILL THE LISTED INSECTS

When using this product in an enclosed area, remove animals before spraying. Remove or cover all food and drinking water, in the treatment area before applications. DAIRY BARNS AND FACILITIES (MILK HOUSE, MILKING PARLORS AND MILK ROOMS): Close all windows and doors. Close milk bulk tank lids to prevent contamination from spray and from dead or falling insects. Remove or cover milking utensils before application. Apply as space spray, directing spray upwards and in all directions at a rate of 1-3 seconds per 1,000 cubic feet of space. Keep room closed for 15 minutes following application. Do not remain in the treated area. Open windows and doors, and thoroughly ventilate treated area before reoccupying. Repeat application daily or as needed. Wash teats of animals before milking. BEEF CATTLE BARN AND HOG BARNS: Close all windows and doors. Spray at the rate of 1-2 seconds per 1,000 cubic feet of space. Keep area closed for 15 minutes following application. Do not remain in the treated area. If area cannot be closed, double the dosage. Open windows and doors, and thoroughly ventilate treated area before reoccupying. Repeat application daily or as needed. HORSE BARNS AND STABLES: Close all windows and doors. Spray at the rate of 1-2 seconds per 1,000 cubic feet of space. Keep area closed for 15 minutes following application. Do not remain in the treated area. If area cannot be closed, double the dosage. Open windows and doors, and thoroughly ventilate treated area before reoccupying. Repeat application daily or as needed. POULTRY HOUSES: Use only in empty poultry houses (where birds are not present). Close all windows and doors. Apply as a space spray upwards at the rate of 1-2 seconds per 1,000 cubic feet of space. Keep room closed for 15 minutes following application. Do not remain in the treated area. If area cannot be closed, double the dosage. Thoroughly ventilate before reintroducing the birds to the treated area. KENNELS AND CATTERIES: Do not use this product to treat companion animals, e.g. dogs, cats, puppies or kittens. To kill Fleas, remove animals before spraying. Change litter and pet bedding before treatment. Close all doors and windows. Hold aerosol 36 inches above floor and direct spray towards floor and lower walls for 10 seconds per 100 square feet. Make sure that all floor areas are treated. Keep treated area closed for at least 15 minutes. Do not remain in the treated area. Open windows and doors, and thoroughly ventilate treated area before reoccupying. Retreat after 7 days or as needed. To kill Bed Bugs, direct application into areas where bed bugs harbor.

STORED PRODUCT PESTS: For exposed adult and larval stages of Carpet Beetles, Chocolate Moths, Cigarette Beetles, Confused Flour Grain Beetles, Drugstore Beetles, Grain Mites, Granary Weevils, Red Flour Beetles, Rice Weevils, and Sawtoothed Grain Beetles: Apply as a crack and crevice or direct spray or space spray into cracks/corners of pantries, cabinets, and other places where insects harbor. Apply around cartons, containers, and other areas where these insects tend to congregate. Repeat treatment weekly or as insects appear. Infested stored products should be fumigated or treated by other effective methods using an approved product intended for this purpose.

FOR USE ON LIVESTOCK ANIMALS

Do not spray on sick animals. Do not spray directly toward animal’s eyes. Do not apply this product directly to domestic (companion) animals (dogs, cats, puppies or kittens).

DAIRY CATTLE: Thoroughly spray entire animal from approximately 2 feet distance, as it is being released to pasture. Do not spray directly toward animal’s face or eyes. Spot treat withers, shoulders and back where saliva accumulates from head tossing. Repeat application daily or as needed.

HORSES AND PONIES: Lightly mist over the back of horses and ponies from a distance of 2 feet as it is being released to pasture. Do not spray directly toward animal’s face or eyes. Spot treat withers, shoulders and back where saliva accumulates from head tossing. Repeat application daily or as needed.

HOGS AND SWINE: Spray directly over the back of hogs for 1-2 seconds per hog. Repeat application daily or as needed.

STANCHION BARN USE: Walk behind animals and direct spray over backs, allowing 1 second per animal.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.

PESTICIDE STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry (preferably locked) area away from heat or open flame that is inaccessible to children and pets.

PESTICIDE DISPOSAL: Wastes resulting from use of this product may be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility.

CONTAINER HANDLING: Do not puncture or incinerate! If empty: Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions.
