Lyte P Indications
LYTE P is a mineral supplement for dairy cattle. It provides certain minerals to help ensure normal nutritional levels before, during and after calving.
DOSAGE:
ON FEED - FEEDING DIRECTIONS:
Add 400 g (one syringe) to the grain ration, 6 to 12 hours prior to calving. Repeat 6 to 12 hours after calving or as directed by a veterinarian.
ORAL - FEEDING DIRECTIONS:
400 g (one syringe) 6 to 12 hours prior to calving. Repeat 6 to 12 hours after calving or as directed by a veterinarian.
1. Animal’s mouth must be free of food.
2. Insert nozzle of syringe through the interdental space and deposit the paste on the back of the tongue by depressing the plunger.
Do not administer more than two treatments per day.
CAUTIONS:
Because of the acid properties of this paste, caution should be exercised to avoid any damage to the mouth and pharynx while administering. If there are no improvements of clinical signs within 24 hours after beginning this treatment, or if the condition worsens, consult your veterinarian.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Do not administer to cows showing no swallowing reflex.
