Introduction of vaccinated pigs into herds intended to remain PRRS virus seronegative is contraindicated. Vaccine is safe in pregnant swine. Specific herds may be particularly sensitive. Fetal health risks associated with the vaccination of pregnant animals with this vaccine cannot be unequivocally determined during clinical trials conducted for licensure.
