Sodium Metabisulfite

Chlorobutanol (preservative)

With Hydrochloric Acid to adjust pH.

EpinJect Indications:

Epinephrine is a powerful, quick-acting vasoconstrictor for emergency use only in the treatment of anaphylactoid shock. The symptoms of anaphylactoid shock include glassy eyes, increased salivation, grinding of the teeth, rapid breathing, muscle tremors, staggering gait, and collapse with death following. These symptoms may appear shortly after injection of a bacterin, vaccine or antibiotic.

EpinJect Dosage And Administration:

Cattle, Horses, Sheep and Swine - Inject subcutaneously or intramuscularly 1 mL per 100 pounds of body weight.

Intravenous injection is not recommended, but if it is found to be clinically necessary, 1/4 to 1/2 of the intramuscular dose should be used.

Hazardous:

Not for human use. Use only as directed. Do not use injection if it is pinkish or darker than slightly yellow or if it contains precipitate.

Storage:

Protect from light. Store in refrigerator at 2°-8°C (38°-46°F). DO NOT FREEZE.
