Circumvent PCV

Porcine Circovirus Vaccine, Type 2, Killed Baculovirus Vector

For use in healthy swine, 3 weeks of age or older, as an aid in the prevention of viremia, and as an aid in the reduction of virus shedding caused by porcine circovirus type 2.

DOSE: Shake well. Inject a 2.0 mL dose intramuscularly into healthy pigs, 3 weeks of age or older, using aseptic technique. Inject a 2.0 mL booster dose 3 weeks later. Animals retained for breeding purposes should be given a booster dose semiannually. Duration of immunity data is not available but studies are in progress.

CAUTIONS: Store refrigerated at 2°-7°C (35°-45°F). Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened; do not save partial contents. Burn the container and all unused product. Use only in healthy swine. Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter. Local injection site reactions may occur. If allergic reaction occurs, treat with epinephrine. Caution should be used to avoid injecting your own fingers, hands, or other body parts. Accidental injection can cause serious local reactions. Contact a physician immediately.

PRESERVATIVES: Gentamicin and thimerosal are added as preservatives.
