Escherichia Coli Bacterin

This product has been shown to be effective for vaccination of healthy adult cattle, including pregnant cattle, against mastitis due to Escherichia coli. Duration of immunity has not been determined. For more information regarding efficacy and safety data, see productdata.aphis.usda.gov.

To use, shake well and administer a 5mL dose subcutaneously. Three doses are recommended at four to six week intervals. Do not vaccinate within two weeks of parturition.

Precautions

For animal use only. Safe for use in pregnant cattle. Do not mix with other products. Do not vaccinate within 60 days of slaughter. Entire contents of this bottle should be used when first opened. If an anaphylactic reaction occurs, appropriate therapy with epinephrine should be instituted immediately. Any adverse reactions following vaccination should be reported to the manufacturer.

Warning

This product contains oil adjuvant. Contains thimerosal as a preservative.

Store at 2° to 8°C (35° to 45°F); DO NOT FREEZE.
