Darvaset

Darvaset is a common misspelling of Darvocet (acetaminophen/propoxyphene).

What is Darvocet (Darvaset)?

Darvocet (Darvaset) is used to relieve mild to moderate pain, either when pain is present alone or when it is accompanied by fever. Darvocet (Darvaset) may also be used for other purposes not listed here.

Darvocet (Darvaset) contains a combination of propoxyphene and acetaminophen and belongs to group of medicines called narcotic pain relievers.

Do not take more Darvocet (Darvaset) than your doctor prescribed. Doing so may cause serious and sometimes fatal side effects. Tell your doctor if you take any medicines that may cause drowsiness (eg, sleep aids, muscle relaxers). Tell your doctor if you drink alcohol regularly or in large amounts. Talk to your doctor before you drink alcohol while you are using Darvocet (Darvaset). If dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, or vomiting occur while you are taking Darvocet (Darvaset), it may help to lie down.
