Usual Adult Dose for Psoriasis

OINTMENT:

• Apply to the affected area(s) once a day for up to 4 weeks; rub in gently and completely
• The maximum weekly dose should not exceed 100 g.
• Treatment of more than 30% body surface area is not recommended.
• Discontinue therapy when control is achieved.
• Do not use with occlusive dressings unless directed by a physician.
• Avoid use on the face, eyes, groin, or axillae, or if skin atrophy is present at the treatment site.

TOPICAL SUSPENSION:

• Apply to affected area(s) once daily for up to 8 weeks.
• The maximum weekly dose should not exceed 100 g.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Administration advice:

• Rub product in gently and completely.
• Patients should wash their hands after application of the product.
• Avoid excessive exposure to either natural or artificial sunlight. Physicians may wish to limit or avoid use of phototherapy in such patients.
• Do not use this drug combination orally, ophthalmically, or intravaginally.
• Instruct patients to shake bottle prior to using the topical suspension or foam.

General:
This topical drug combination may cause eye irritation. Eye exposure should be avoided.
