Active Ingredient

Each gram contains 55 mg (175 mg/teaspoonful) of tetracycline hydrochloride in a water soluble base.

Kanadom Tetracycline Hydrochloride Indications

For the treatment of infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to tetracycline.

Directions For Use

To reduce the development of antimicrobial resistance and maintain effectiveness, use this antibiotic prudently and for the shortest duration required to achieve the desired clinical outcome.

Swine: For bacterial enteritis and respiratory diseases (bacterial) give 2 level teaspoons per 4.5 L of water or milk.

Calves: For bacterial scours and bacterial diarrhea, give 1 level teaspoonful once daily (for calves under 45 kg) or 2 level teaspoons once daily (for calves over 45 kg).

Lambs: For bacterial enteritis and bacterial diarrhea, give 1/2 level teaspoon in 60 mL of milk daily as a drench.

Poultry: For bluecomb, hexamitiasis, and C.R.D., give 2 level teaspoons per 4.5 L of water.

Warnings

Treated animals must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 5 days after the latest treatment with this drug. Do not feed to laying hens.When handling the product, avoid inhalation, oral exposure and direct contact with skin or eyes. Keep out of reach of children.

Storage

Store at room temperature (15-30°C).
