Directions For Use

SPACE SPRAY. Kills flying insects in milking parlours, milking rooms, milk houses, dairy barns, beef barns, horse barns, piggeries, poultry houses, shelter sheds. Direct spray upwards to all parts of the room especially windows and other light sources. Apply at a rate of 6 to 10 seconds per 30 m³. Remove all animals from treatment area before using as a space spray. For best results, close all doors and windows during treatment and keep room closed for 15 minutes before ventilating. Ventilate treated areas thoroughly for at least 30 minutes before animal re-entry. Repeat as necessary with additional spraying of breeding areas. Clean up dead insects.

LIVESTOCK SPRAY: To treat beef cattle, dairy cattle (lactating and non-lactating), horses, hogs and other livestock against stable flies, horse flies, face flies, deer flies, house flies, horn flies, mosquitoes, and biting midges. Spray animals once daily with a fine mist. Apply at a rate of 6 to 8 seconds per animal. Spray should be enough to wet ends of the hair only; do not wet the hair or the skin. Take care not to spray in animal’s eyes or mouth. Treat dairy cattle at least 20 minutes before milking. Wash udders before milking. Do not use more often than once a day.

MILK HOUSES: When used in milk houses, use only when milk house is not in operation. Cover or remove all milk and milking implements before spraying. After spraying, wash all surfaces that may contact milk and rinse thoroughly with potable water before resuming operations.

POULTRY HOUSES AND POULTRY: To control poultry lice and exposed stages of darkling beetles, spray roosts, walls and nests or cages thoroughly. This should be followed by spraying over the birds with a fine mist. Repeat as necessary. For control of bedbugs and mites on poultry and in poultry houses, spray crevices of roost poles, cracks in walls and cracks in nests where the bedbugs and mites hide. This should be followed by spraying over the birds with a fine mist. Repeat as necessary.

CRAWLING INSECTS: Apply to insect hiding places and breeding areas such as baseboards, moist areas, opening around sinks, drains, and pipes, behind cabinet and storage areas. If possible, hit insects directly to kill. Spray ant trails, around door sills, window frames or in ant nest. FLEAS: Spray infested areas such as pet’s bed and resting quarters, nearby cracks and crevices, along and behind baseboards, windows and door frames, and localized areas and floor covering where pests may be present. Remove old bedding and replace with fresh clean bedding after treatment. Insects must be contacted to be killed. Do not treat pets with this product.

Precautions

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Do not remain in treated areas. Ensure proper ventilation after sealed areas have been treated. Cover milk and milking utensils to prevent contamination from spray and dead insects. (Any treated surfaces that may contact food or feed products should be washed thoroughly with potable water after spraying and before re-use). Do not contaminate feed or water troughs. Do not spray over milk or milking equipment. Avoid inhalation of spray. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wash after using. CONTENTS UNDER PRESSURE. Do not place in hot water or near radiators, stove or other sources of heat. Do not puncture or incinerate can or store at temperatures over 50 °C. Do not spray into or near any open flame, spark or while smoking.

FIRST AID TREATMENT: If swallowed: Call a poison control centre or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control centre or doctor. Do not give any liquid to the person. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If inhaled: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth, if possible. Call a poison control centre or doctor for further treatment advice. If on skin or clothing: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice. If in eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice. Take container, label or product name and Pest Control Product Registration Number with you when seeking medical attention.

TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION: Treat symptomatically. This product contains petroleum distillates. Vomiting may cause aspiration pneumonia.

Disposal

Press valve to completely empty can. Dispose of can in accordance with Provincial requirements. For information on disposal of unused, unwanted product, contact the manufacturer or the provincial regulatory agency. Contact the manufacturer and the provincial regulatory agency in case of a spill, and for information on the clean-up of spills.
