Uses: Citric Acid can be used as: 1) Acidifying agent for water 2) To maintain clear water lines 3) To remove scale and sludge 4) To increase solubility of certain water soluble powders

Directions For Use

Water line cleaning (maintenance): Add 500 g of powder to 1200 L of water.

For automatic proportioner: Set the apparatus to distribute 30 mL per 4 L of drinking water (1 oz/gallon U.S.). Prepare stock solution by dissolving 750 g of powder in 4.5 L of water.

Solubility Aid: To increase the solubility of Oxytetracycline and Tetracycline products for water medication: Use 5 parts of Citric Acid powder added to 1 part of Oxytetracycline or Tetracycline powder to be dissolved. For example, 500 g of Citric Acid for each 100 g of Tetracycline HCl to be dissolved in the drinking water.

Protect from excessive heat and moisture.

Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wear rubber gloves and safety glasses with side shields. Keep out of reach of children.

EYE: Immediately flush with cool water. Remove contact lenses, if applicable, and continue flushing for 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention immediately.

SKIN: Brush away excess material. Immediately flush with cool water for 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention if imitation persists.

INHALATION: If symptoms develop move victim to fresh air. If symptoms persist, obtain medical attention.

INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water, then drink one or two glasses of water. Obtain medical attention. Never give anything by mouth if victim is unconscious or is convulsing.
