Cinoxacin Pregnancy Warnings

Cinoxacin has been assigned to category C. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Cartilage damage and arthropathies have been reported in immature animals, giving rise to concern over effects on fetal bone formation. Cinoxacin should not be given during pregnancy, unless the very rare clinical situation occurs where therapy is limited, and benefit outweighs risk.
