OxyContin (Oxycotten) may also be used for other purposes not listed here. OxyContin (Oxycotten) contains oxycodone in a timed-release tablet. It is similar to morphine.
OxyContin (Oxycotten) abuse may lead to dependence and tolerance. Overdose of OxyContin (Oxycotten) can produce severe respiratory depression, skeletal muscle flaccidity, cold and clammy skin, reduction in blood pressure and heart rate, coma, respiratory arrest, and death.
