Darvoset
Darvoset is a common misspelling of Darvocet(acetaminophen/propoxyphene).
What is Darvocet (Darvoset)?
Darvocet (Darvoset) contains a combination of acetaminophen and propoxyphene and is used to relieve mild to moderate pain with or without fever.
Propoxyphene is a narcotic pain reliever (opiate-type) that acts on certain centers in the brain to give you pain relief. Acetaminophen is a non-narcotic pain reliever.
Darvocet (Darvoset)may also be used for other purposes not listed here.
Darvocet (Darvoset) should be used with extreme caution in patients who have a history of substance abuse, depression with suicidal tendency, or who already take medications that cause drowsiness (e.g., antidepressants, muscle relaxants, pain relievers, sedatives, tranquilizers).
Darvocet (Darvoset) side effects include nausea, vomiting, constipation, lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness, headache and vision changes.
