Budeprion XL (extended-release tablet) is a prescription medicine used to treat adults with a certain type of depression called major depressive disorder and for prevention of autumn-winter seasonal depression (seasonal affective disorder).
The most common side effects associated with use of Budeprion include agitation, dry mouth, insomnia, headache, nausea, constipation, and tremor. Less commonly some users may experience manic episodes or hallucinations
